INCENTIVE/FIT:

Incentive: Simply put, to make sure her brother is both alive and safe. She believes him to be dead (he's actually in the same freaking city but she doesn't know this yet) so if she can be assured he will be taken good care of she will come without hesitation.

Fit: Alex has a caring and nurturing personality, making her easy to like and relate to. She's quiet and thoughtful, but she's certainly not the sort of person who likes to be pushed around, at least not anymore. Besides, Alex's former job was that of a prostitute, and while she has no intention of going back to that she's not without experience, and also has a particular insight into people's conception of sex and intimacy, so she might click with others more easily.

[ That's basically the worst starter ever, but Alex wanted to get that out of the way. Look, things weren't particularly pretty back home. ]

They was really the definition of pushing it.

Nicolas was better now, but the danger was still there, not to mention the fresh memory of the man nearly dying on them. On her. People were dying left and right (because to her, Twilights were people) and the mafia heads were all going a bit insane, not to mention the Cristiano head was a teenage girl that Alex sometimes felt was way out of her depth. Everything was slowly going to Hell around her, which left Alex in a situation where all she could do was play moral support.

And these gentlemen wanted her to go with them. Away. To some place that required affection.

But it wasn't the ridiculous statement she had been presented with that had caught her attention. No, it had been the promise of having her brother safe and sound. Not with her, as she wouldn't be there, but somewhere else, hopefully far away from Ergastulum. That was all she wanted, all she needed of them. A miracle, through and through. She needed to go away, she needed to abandon her friends. Even with half the city telling her Benriya was like a death sentence hanging over her head and the need for Alex to go away she had stayed with them, because they were the closest she had to family. But she needed to save her bother. Who could argue with that? Not her. She just hoped they would understand.
